All branch officers and workplace representatives have to be elected anually. All branch members are entitled to stand for positions, though some roles are only open to sections of the branch membership e.g. Woman's officer position is only open to women etc.
If you wish to know more about the roles of officers and stewards this guide carries information about the responsibilities of each role. Full training is available paid for by UNISON.
If you wish to stand as an officer or workplace representative please complete the nomination form and return to Jane Lacey, branch secretary by 12 noon Thursday 21st December, using the details shown on the form.
The results of any election will take place at the Annual General Meeting on 2nd February and the newly elected officers and workplace representatives will take up their roles then.
